Review by hotel critic
Hotel Ladurner offers a comfortable retreat for families, and our experience during a recent two-week stay was enjoyable. Nestled in a quiet cul de sac, it provides an ideal balance between relaxation and accessibility. We appreciated the short 15-minute walk down the hill to central Merano, along with the convenience of the free bus route. The hotel’s amenities catered well to families. We utilized the indoor and outdoor pools, which were a hit with the kids, and the sun terrace offered a great spot for relaxation. The children even enjoyed the playground, which allowed them to burn off some energy. Exploring the local facilities was a delight; we took advantage of the family-friendly hiking route, the South Tyrolean Waalwege, perfect for leisurely walks with the children. We visited Merano's horse racing arena, where the kids could witness horse riding and the excitement of the grounds.
